    NEW! Despite the recommendation of the staff of the
    Department of Environmental Protection's Water Supply
    Planning Division and the Regulatory Advisory Panel (made
    up of private and public stakeholders), Governor McDonnell
    has refused to approve the expansion of the Eastern Virginia
    Groundwater Management Area to include the Northern Neck
    and Middle Peninsula. Watch for updates.
